The reading
The dolphin's back rises over a narrow band while its head and tail angle down toward opposite sides.
A prominent dorsal fin makes the arch easy to follow. Held above the ring's steady circle, the figure suggests a brief departure from routine that depends on a place to return, rather than a demand for constant boldness.
How to wear it
The symbol
The head leads the curve without pulling the tail out of view, so the whole figure belongs to the movement. The design gives an exploratory act both a beginning and a following-through
The material
Sterling Silver forms the arched animal and supporting shank, identified by Peter Stone as .925 silver. Polished contours let light move along the back while the simple band stays visually quiet, giving a temporary gesture a steady physical support.
