The reading
Five crossing silver strokes form an open star whose tips meet a plain circular rim.
The narrow spaces between them remain visible, with the border enclosing the pattern rather than filling it. This relationship suggests a boundary that gives several commitments a shared limit without requiring them to become identical or occupy every available part of a life.

The symbol
Each point reaches the same perimeter from a different direction. The circle therefore limits the whole arrangement without choosing one point as the only valid one. Protection appears here
The material
Sterling Silver forms the interwoven star, rounded border and bail, specified by Peter Stone as .925 silver. The smooth rim gives a quieter edge to the crossing strokes, relating consistency at the boundary to complexity that can safely remain inside it.
