The reading
Two whale sharks curve together to trace a heart, their fins and patterned bodies still recognizable within the shared outline.
The bond depends on both animals taking part rather than one becoming a background for the other. Its open center suggests affection with room for a life beyond the relationship, not a space that must constantly be filled.

The material
Sterling Silver forms the modeled whale sharks beneath the gold vermeil layer. This underlying body keeps fins, markings and the shared outline connected, suggesting the practical support a relationship needs beneath its more visible gestures.
14k Gold Vermeil covers the sterling silver with the source's 14K vermeil plate, giving both animals a shared golden surface. That warmth lends the paired form a celebratory character, allowing affection to be shown openly without confusing a bright finish with the substance supporting it.
