The reading
Pale mottling appears within dark snowflake obsidian beads, so each bead holds a different trace of change after volcanic heat has passed.
The marks do not cover the dark ground or repeat in a uniform way. Their variation suggests a new pattern emerging gradually from an old event, with room to recognize what has changed before naming a finished outcome.
How to wear it
The symbol
No two pale blooms cross the black surface alike. They read as records left by change rather than instructions for it, and the circle offers a simple calendar for noticing what is no longer the same.
The material
Snowflake Obsidian forms the black beads and pale mottling across the strand. Their contrast gives gradual change a visible pattern, allowing a dark history and a gentler present to occupy the same whole.
